Updates from the Fulford Environment Group
Fulford School is committed to being an environmentally friendly and sustainable school. During 2023 we are enhancing this by aiming for the BREEAM excellent certification standard for our new build expansion and rolling that standard out across the school site and community. We will use this page to share some of the success stories, however big or small, with you, our school community.
Forthcoming milestones to look out for include; increased recycling across site, reuse of goods and materials across the MAT, installation of EV charging points, increasing the biodiversity of the site, tackling food waste, increased solar generated energy and much more.
We are excited to be raising the profile of the environment and sustainability at Fulford School whilst developing opportunities for leadership within the student population as Mr Hearn and the student led environment group will be involved in and lead on these initiatives.
