In January Fulford sent four teams to Coventry for the Indoor National Finals of the Open division. We made the most of it and made a two-night trip for the weekend-long tournament. All the players put in excellent performances across the weekend, showcasing their hard work and dedication to the sport and to their teammates.
The second, third and fourth teams worked incredibly hard all weekend and made fantastic progress, finishing 10th, 14th and 18th in the country. The first team had been training hard for this, with lots of 7am training sessions in the months leading up to the tournament. This commitment and drive paid off with a podium finish, and they returned from Coventry with bronze medals. An amazing finish for a young U20s team.
