Lead Teacher for English – KS5 Curriculum Coordinator  

Location: Fulford School 

Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR 2a £3,527

Contract: Full time, permanent

Start date: 1st September 2026

 

The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented and committed English Teacher to join our thriving English Department. This post includes a permanent TLR 2a for Key Stage 5 Curriculum Coordination, offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner to lead on the development and delivery of our KS5 curriculum where we currently offer A levels in English Language, English Literature and Film Studies.

* Supportive and proactive as a Form Tutor
 
TLR Responsibilities – KS5 Curriculum Coordinator (Permanent)
The successful candidate will:
* Keep up to date with relevant exam board specification for KS5 courses and assessment requirements
* Coordinate lesson planning and resourcing for KS5
* Manage KS5 groupings, assessment cycles, moderation, and data analysis
* Set deadlines for assessment data and monitor completion
* Oversee KS5 homework
* Support with the planning and delivery of Open Evenings
* Contribute to evaluating curriculum impact through learning walks and feedback cycles
* Deputise for the Curriculum Leader / Lead Teacher for English when required
* Undertake any other duties consistent with STPCD expectations
