HR BUSINESS PARTNER – South York MAT, Based in York
25 hrs – flexible working pattern / term-time only
£20,803 p.a. (Based on full-equivalent of £18.57 per hr)as
Working closely to support leaders and staff in Schools across the Trust – this flexible role will provide an accessible and responsive first point of contact for HR advice & guidance and will support the Trusts operations to ensure best practice and compliance with employment law and statutory guidance.
You will have previous experience of working within a HR environment in a multi-functional organisation and in-depth knowledge of managing the full range of ER scenarios.
You will work closely with the CEO for the Trust and take a lead role in devising and developing HR policy & procedures for the Trust. You will work closely with a HR Advisor and also have access to external HR consultants for support.
You will have well developed inter-personal skills, the ability to influence and identify risks and tailor workable pragmatic solutions to support managers and staff.
You will have the chance to work in a supportive central SYMAT team and work across the six schools within the Trust with regular travel to the Trust’s schools. The role will start in September 2024.
