Salary: Grade 4 – based on full-time equivalent of £25,114 – £26,319p.a.

Actual Annual Salary: £17,308 – term time only, working 30 hours per week

Contract: Full time / part time positions available – Permanent

Part time positions available: Hours/Days to be discussed at interview. We understand the importance of flexibility and a healthy work life balance. We are more than happy to discuss your preferred days/hours to see if we can accommodate these.  We would be looking for a minimum commitment of 3 days per week.
 
Description:
We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our growing and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a genuine impact on young people’s lives by helping them thrive academically and personally.
As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment. Your support will be instrumental in helping pupils reach their full potential and overcome any barriers to learning.
 
You will:
• Work under the guidance of the teacher to support teaching and learning activities within the classroom
• Provide general assistance to the class teacher in managing and organising pupils with additional educational needs
• Assist in establishing and maintaining a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment
• Promote inclusion for all pupils, ensuring they have equal access to learning and opportunities for development
• Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in the school
 
You will have:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for helping every child achieve their best
• Some understanding and practical experience in supporting children’s development, including behaviour and discipline strategies
