Geography Teacher

Location: Fulford School

Contract: Full time, permanent

Start date: September 2025

We are looking for creative, talented and committed Geography Teacher who will pro-actively contribute to this energetic and supportive team by developing high quality learning experiences that develop students’ curiosity and fascination about the world. The successful candidate will join one of the most popular departments within the school which has an established track record of excellent results.
 
In our Geography department:
  • Over 80 students are studying at Geography at KS5
  • Over 300 students are taking Geography at KS4
  • We have high levels of achievement and attainment for all students
  • We are committed to Geography beyond the classroom and run fieldtrips to locations such as Iceland, Sicily and the Yorkshire Dales
 
The successful applicant will be: 
  • A highly motivated, enthusiastic and confident teacher who enjoys delivering high quality, creative lessons and inspiring a love of Geography.
  • Able to teach across the age and ability range.
  • Able to secure high standards of engagement, progress and achievement for all students.
  • An inspiring practitioner who keeps abreast of the latest developments in learning and teaching.
  • Able and willing to make a full contribution to the life of the school and be committed to extra-curricular activities.
