Post: Faculty Technician – The Arts
Location: Fulford School
Salary: Grade 4 – £12.65 per hour
Contract: FTC – Covering absence until Easter
Start date: ASAP
We are looking for a Technician to prepare materials for practical lessons, look after the equipment and resources within the department.
The successful candidate will also be expected to provide support to the department teachers in their task of improving student attainment by showing expertise in safe running and maintenance of specialist equipment.
Job Purpose
Ensure that all materials, equipment and resources are prepared and set up during the teaching day.
Ensure that all teaching areas, machinery and equipment are kept in a safe, clean and tidy manner.
Have an understanding about Health & Safety legislation and apply these across the Department.
Keys skills/experience:
Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role but not essentia
