Location: Fulford School 

Salary: MPS/UPS

Contract: Full Time, Maternity cover 

Start date: February or Easter 2025*

*The start date for the position is flexible and can be set for either the February half term or Easter, depending on the applicant’s availability. We are happy to accommodate the timing that best suits the successful candidate.
Job Details:
We are looking for an inspiring and engaging PE teacher to join our School to support us in covering a maternity leave.
PE lessons at Fulford School cover a range of activities and topics, with the aim of inspiring a lifelong love of sport and exercise, that lays the foundations for lasting participation, healthy living and academic success.
Whether you are an ECT or an experienced professional, you will be an enthusiastic practitioner able to make a significant contribution to the implementation of our departmental vision, through dynamic teaching and learning.
The successful applicant will: 
– Be a highly motivated, energetic professional who loves PE and can plan and deliver high quality, engaging PE lessons        
– Secure high standards of engagement, progress and achievement for all students.
– Have energy, resilience, optimism, a sense of humour and the determination to see things through.
-Be able to teach GCSE PE. If you have experience of teaching BTEC Sport Level 3 this will be advantageous.
– Be able and willing to make a full contribution to the life of the school and be committed to supporting colleagues with extra-curricular activities.
