We are immensely proud of our Year 13 students on their remarkable achievements throughout their sixth form studies and in securing some of the best Fulford Sixth Form results. The students’ resilience, determination, and impressive character have culminated in excellent A-level and vocational results, which are a testament to their hard work and dedication. Overall, 75% of all results were the A* to B grades (or BTEC equivalent) sought by top universities, with 50% students achieving an A* or A grade in their A-Levels or Distinction* in the vocational courses. In Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, over 60% students achieved an A* or A grade.
Our students are now prepared to embark on the next chapter of their lives, whether it be at university, college, in the workforce, or through apprenticeships. Amongst the fantastic achievements, 8 of our students have secured places at Oxbridge and 5 students go on to study Medicine. Many have also secured places on competitive apprenticeship programmes around the country. They have not only gained in-depth knowledge of their subjects but have also discovered much about themselves. We are confident that these exceptional young individuals will carry the lessons they have learned, along with their outstanding grades, into their future endeavours.
As a school we challenge our students to be the change they wish to see in the world. As they leave us, we send them off with our best wishes for their future. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and the people they have become. We are grateful for the significant contributions they have made to our school community.
We eagerly anticipate the positive changes they will bring to their communities, the good they will do, and the difference they will make in the world.
