International Week at Fulford

posted in: News | 0

Last week, we celebrated International Week. Around twenty five of our students carried out a bake sale as part of our international week. They made food from across the world and managed to raise £164.80 so a huge well done to them!  Proceeds will go to their charity of choice: Refugee Action York.

Alongside this a range of other activities took place to celebrate the cultural diversity that we have within the school.  This included a visit from around sixty Argentinian students to take part in a shared musical concert.  And some of our students got to spend some time in class learning Chinese and Japanese – sessions were run by seven visitors from York University.

It’s been a brilliant week
