Location: Fulford School 

Salary: Grade 4 – based on full-time equivalent of £23,045 – £24,213p.a.

Actual Annual Salary: £16,097 – £16,913 – term time only, 30 hours per week

Contract: Full time positions available. 30 hours per week, Term time only

Start date: ASAP

 
The main purpose of the job will include:
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and committed teaching assistants to join our outstanding high school.
 
As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to provide high-quality support and guidance to students across all key stages and subject areas.
 
Key Responsibilities:
– Supporting teachers in delivering outstanding lessons
– Working with small groups and individual students to ensure they reach their full potential
– Assessing and recording student progress
– Establishing positive relationships with students, staff and parents
– Contributing to the development and implementation of individual education plans
– Delivering interventions
– Attending regular CPD sessions
 
Person Specification:
– A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young people’s lives
– Good active communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with staff, students and parents
– An ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Enthusiasm and drive to adapt work-based skills
– Ability to use initiative in a wealth of learning situations
