£14,731 – £15,546 actual salary depending on experience
(Based on full time equivalent salary of £19,875-£20,975 p.a.)
We are looking for 2 enthusiastic and motivated individuals with an interest in working directly with students in a secondary school setting to join our School.
As a Cover Supervisor you will play an important role supporting students across the age range and covering lessons for absent colleagues. This role can provide excellent experience for anyone wanting to embark upon a career in teaching or education.
The main purpose of the job will include:
- Supervising students in lessons where work has been set.
- Working alongside teachers in a supporting Teaching Assistant role, when not used for cover.
- Supervising students and buildings beyond lesson-time.
- Invigilating public examinations, internal examinations, tests, timed assignments.
You should have 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English) or equivalent and be keen to undergo further training as well as be ready to get involved in the full life of the school. Full training and support will be given for the successful candidate – some experience within an educational setting would be desirable to help you succeed in the role.
