Attendance Intervention Lead – Fulford School
37 hrs – Term time only + 2 wks
£21,415 – £23,239 actual salary depending on experience
(Based on full-time equivalent salary £24,275 – £26,343 p.a.)
Working in a newly formed function as part of the wider pastoral team – this interesting new position will play a central role in overseeing and supporting attendance across the school.
You will work with the Attendance Administrator ensuring accurate, timely and useful information is available which will support practical measures and interventions to improve attendance.
This will include advising and guiding teaching and other school staff, pro-active liaison with parents and students, home visits and arranging and leading meetings.
You will have proven interpersonal and communication skills gained within an educational / pastoral setting with an ability to influence and establish productive working relationships and to persevere in sometimes challenging situations. You will be comfortable working with data and using it to support decision making which builds upon your knowledge base and experience of working with students who may exhibit challenging behaviour.
You will join a friendly team with fresh energy, ideas and new leadership from a recently appointed Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher.
